usually the easiest. Note 2: If for some reason the download fails, simply repeat the steps described above.)

Explorer Security warning.)
- Again click the "Run" button. (If you're using Windows Vista with
User Account Control enabled, then the following additional warning message is displayed.)

the Installation {see next image below}.)
(Note: You can also Manually start the Setup Wizard, by
double clicking the downloaded setup file "word-epics_setup.exe", using
Windows Explorer.)
- Follow the Setup Wizard's on screen instructions to complete installation. (When
setup is complete, proceed to the registration instructions shown below.)
Registration Instructions:
Once Word ePics is installed, you need to register it on your computer using the following steps:
(Registration fully unlocks the software, allowing use beyond the 30 day/30 hour trial period. Once
the application is registered, registration never expires.)
- After purchase, you will receive a registration email containing a software license similar to the one shown below. Using your mouse highlight the license (including the "<Copy_From_Here>" and "<Copy_To_Here>" tags), then right click anywhere in the highlighted area and select Copy from the popup menu. (This copies the license to the system clipboard.)
Sample License from Registration Email:
- Start Word ePics by double clicking its Desktop Shortcut (shown below). (This displays the
"Evaluation Notice" dialog. Note: If Word ePics starts without first displaying
the "Evaluation Notice" dialog, then the program is already registered on your
computer.)
|
|
(This dialog is not displayed if the application is already registered.)
|
- Click the "Register Now..." button (shown above). (This opens the Register Now dialog shown below.)
- Click the "Paste from Clipboard" button. (This copies your software license
from the system clipboard to the large textbox on the Register Now dialog.)
- Click the "Submit" button. (This saves your license to file, then displays the following
message.)
- Click the "Ok" button to close the Register Now dialog and
start the application.
Notes:
- Once Word ePics is registered on your computer, the registration never
expires. You can install updates without re-registering.
- Keep your software license in a safe place. You may need it if your hard
drive crashes or you reinstall Windows.
- If you loose your license, you can get a replacement using the
Mission Peak Software Replace Lost Codes
page.
Registration Backup:
- Start Word-ePics.
- Select Registration Backup from the Help menu. (This opens the
"Save License As" Dialog.)
- Click the Save button to create a backup registration file. (Keep
this file in a safe place.)
Registering from Backup:
- If necessary, use this procedure to re-register the application
after a hard-drive failure. (You only need to re-register if the Evaluation
Notice dialog (shown above) is displayed when you start the
program. If the Evaluation Notice is not displayed when you start the program,
then this procedure is unnecessary.)
- Start Word-ePics. (If the application is unregistered, this will
display the Evaluation Notice dialog.)
- Click the "Register Now..." button, to display the Register Now dialog.
- Click the "Options" button, then select "Load License From File" from
the popup menu. (This displays the "Load License" dialog.)
- Use the Load License dialog to locate and select your backup file, then
click the Open Button. (Once the Open button is clicked, the backup
is automatically processed.)
- That's it you're done.
