Customer Feedback and Testimonials:

  • "I had some Life magazines (a bunch!) to sell on ebay, so I needed a batch processor that would: turn pic 90 degrees (since all the pictures are sideways to be full screen), brighten, autocrop, make a thumbnail as well as standard size ones for ebay page. Your product worked beautifully! And Fast. I had downloaded almost a dozen alternate shareware products to test, and no others even came close! I am excited you have a newer version out now (3.22), and am anxious to purchase and use it! I also maintain a couple of product-oriented websites, and it is perfect for that as well! A fantastic program, and a bargain to boot!"

  • "I post pictures for our soccer club's website. People send me all sizes, shapes and quality of pictures, and I can easily get them ready for the web with little effort. Before I found your program, I was opening, editing and resaving each picture. Because it was tedious, I often took several days to get the pictures posted, which was frustrating to the people who submitted them. Very easy to use and a bargain compared with a couple other programs I tried out but didn't end up buying."

  • "Amen, amen to all user comments. I am a new web developer (last 90 days) and initially spent substantial $$ and time trying to identify the right "tool set" to help me get "jump started". I tried em all... buttons, banners, templates, ... I'm starting to get some proficiency and have now "uninstalled" or trashed most of the junk I bought or downloaded, with a couple of exceptions... Quick ePics will be in my tool box forever. I'm also a programmer and I like a straight forward "user interface". Simple to use and gives the most "bang for the buck" as far as creating "friendly" websites. Thx."

  • "I'm a busy father who just got a new 5 megapixel camera. It takes great pictures but they take FOREVER to email and the pictures are just plain huge. I tried Quick ePics and was surprised at how easy it was to use and how small the pictures could be compressed without sacrificing quality. I also love how quickly I can compress and resize an entire memory card full of pictures -- just a few seconds! Quick ePics definitely lives up to its name. Now I can easily share my pictures with family and friends and still have quality time with my family. I almost ordered a similar program from one of your competitors. That was until I actually put your program to the test. It does everything I need, batch compression and resizing of photos, and does it quickly and easily. The other programs I tried were too clumsy, too slow, or major overkill for my needs. It's rare to find a program that truly lives up developers' claims. Consider me another happy customer!"

  • "I DO EBAY AUCTIONS AND USE AN IMAGE HOSTING SERVCE, WITHOUT QEP MY HANDS ARE TIED. I HAVE TO POST PICS WITH THE SMALLEST SIZE POSSIBLE AND I HAVE AS MANY AS 200 AT ATIME TO EDIT, I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO MESS AROUND WITH PROGRAMS THAT DO NOT WORK. THIS ONE DOES AND I LOVE IT. I HAVE USED NEARLY ALL THE FREE TRIAL PIC EDIT SOFTWARE AND QEP IS BY FAR THE EASIEST AND MOST CONCISE PROGRAM ON THE MARKET. YOU OUTDID YOURSELVES ON THIS ONE. • "I write press releases for a Jewish non-profit organization, and Quick ePics helps me to reduce the size of the photographs so I can send them easily to newspapers for them to publish. Thanks for making such an easy-to-use piece of software!"

  • "My software transfers many, many pictures thru a client-server architecture. The variable compression and batch processing proved very useful to enhance downloads for my clients. Nice software. It works very well - and quickly. Can't think of any negatives. As I'm involved in the software biz, I know that useful IT products can really increase efficiency. Quick ePics did that for me. Thanks."

  • "I wanted a batch processor to turn my 5 megapixel digital pictures into pictures small enough to conveniently email or put on my web site. I had been manually creating smaller pictures from each picture I wanted to email, but this tooks lots of time, so I wasn't emailing as many pictures as I wanted to. Quick ePics batch feature is perfect for this, and it runs smoothly on my ancient PC (233 MHz w/256 MB ram)."

  • "To make batch conversions of image files to JPEG in order to upload them to stock files on our internet web server. We get the images in >200 KB files and need to convert them to <200 KB. I made 270 conversions in a matter of minuttes, it was great..."

  • "We are a commercial site that needs images of books on its site. The book industry is a very traditional industry that is not fully adapted to the Internet. The images in their library are used mainly for printing and marketing in their hardcover catalogues, most of these images are very large and very heavy in *.tif, or *.bmp formats. Because they are not prepared to supply images in the format required i.e. about 100 pxl wide and not heavier than 8KB, it was left to us to convert the images supplied.

From one of our distributors we have over 400,000 oversized images.

We have spent months exploring the net to find a suitable program, We found many programs that can do the job, partially, and on some of the ones we were able to process by batch, the images did not save with a good resolution.

For a time we were using 2 programs that after much work and combining features of one and the other we got the results we were looking for, but it was cumbersome and time consuming and limited to say 500 images, because the saving had to be of one by one. Certainly not applicable to our stock of 400,000.

So we continued searching the net until we finally come across your program. We were so relieved when it did what we were looking for.The images saved were as small as they could be and in a very good resolution.

It solved our problem, for what we are grateful.

My sincere compliments on your program, you are the best we found !! "

  • "Quick ePics revolutionalized how I process my pictures. I love it!! Cut my pic editing time by 75%!" I found this software about 8 months ago. I still tell everyone how wonderful it is. Not only does it save me tremendous amounts of time, but it also automatically compresses and resizes my photos, greatly increasing the quality of my output. I had been writing to companies looking for a program that does what Quick ePics does and was so frustrated with the amount of time I was spending. Thanks for seeing the need and writing an excellent program. "

  • "Just downloaded this program and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I did an entire CD of 500K photos and most are down to 25K now -- perfect for emailing my dad who still uses a modem! Very easy to use -- I was up and running in about 5 minutes. Don't see much software that makes me want to write the author these days! Thanks. "

  • "It is an essential, can't-be-without tool when developing websites which feature photos and photo galleries. It's used by our firm to optimize photos which are original content and go straight from our digital cameras to our PC's to the websites we design. It's exceptionally fast and easy to use. We would highly recommend Quick ePics to anyone manipulating photography for optimum use on the web. "

  • "We are an online resale store with thousands of unique/one-of-a-kind children's items. We take hundreds of pictures every week (over 12,000 total to date) and our biggest problem was finding an image editing program that did what we needed to make our pictures web-ready. At one point we were actually using as many as four different programs to process images and create thumbnails and we still weren't satisfied with the results or the time it took. We just finished the trial of Quick ePics and we're very impressed with it. It has reduced our image processing time significantly, and with a few minor tweaks could be the only software we need. Excellent lightweight, easy to learn and use batch editor. We've been able to process 60 - 70 pictures at a time with ease and with results as good as or better than the much more expensive and bulkier image editors. "

  • "I use it regularly on my own personal web-site. I'm buying this copy for a pastor friend of mine. I use Quick ePics when performing my weekly site updates. It has really helped my pages to be easily accessible and enjoyable rather than a drudgery. • "Outstanding Program For on the Fly Photo Sessions. Fills a functional gap of my photo edit program, namely the program quickly processes groups of pics that need a little tweak but don't warrant alot of production time e.g. auction pics, groups of snapshots for emailing etc... Kudos! Also use it to make slight visual adjustments to groups of production photos- the digital parallel to timing a proof sheet. "

  • "Aw Jim, what more can I say. I just bought a new computer and I'm setting it up to do my auctions and website management, so I'm installing another copy. I can't live without your program. I did tell the folks in my photography class about the program (which has now ended and was another waste of my time and money for what I'm needing, which is NOT how to take pics of sunsets and flowers). Anyways, I may be installing this on yet another computer... I hope you are doing well. "

  • "Had started to do more webpage content. My limited personal webspace makes very compact JPGs a necessity - otherwise I would tend to avoid posting such content. This occasional and perhaps optional need normally would not be sufficient to justify yet another tool. However, your batch processing option was the selling point. I had been searching for months for a tool that could convert 4-up printouts (a common print feature) converted to 4X roughly cropped scanned images (in PAPERPORT) into cleaned up individual JPG files. The intelligent cropping and scaling features combined with a relatively simple batch process was an easy selling point. 4 JPGs per page times 8 pages equalled 32 JPGs in a very timely and efficient manner. "

  • "It has been excellent for quickly resizing (while retaining image quality) book covers for our on-line store. Excellent! It does just what I need simply "

I have recommended this program to several people because for the lay person that just needs to reduce photos for faster email downloads and uploads it is perfect because it is easy to learn and use! I don't have to teach the lay person anything. It truly is ‘what you see is what you get’. This is great! "

  • "I use it to resize the pictures that I send through the e-mail. "

  • "I use it to post pictures onto Bulletin Boards for KOI Carp. "

  • "I have many professionally done, high resolution jpg's of my products (mostly tools) but the accompanying large file sizes render them unusable for me in desktop publishing, e-mail and web pages. Your program is quick and easy to use. Features and usability are just right for me. Your program does a fabulous job. You obviously know your market. Thanks. "

  • "(I use it) to compress the images at my web site. Quick easy to use. "

  • "I use quick epics to compress photos to send over the internet. It is easy to use and well documented. "

  • "Use it to compress my auction photos for Ebay. Works great! "

  • "1) I use it for images on my web-site. I like the control your software gives relating to balancing download speed with quality.

    2) I use the software to minimize the size of images which are going into powerpoints. It's great to be able to fit BIG presentations on one floppy disk. I got one powerpoint down from over 8 megs to about 500K and the image quality was barely different to the human eye.

I really think the software is great. It does a few jobs very well rather than attempting to do a bit of everything in a mediocre way. I particularly like the fact that I can jump into your software, convert my images, and then get on with web-site development or preparing a powerpoint without wasting a lot of time and losing my "flow" / concentration.

I'd be very interested to hear of other software you have developed. "

  • "I totally LOVE this software. In my case, I have a SONY digital camera that uses A: floppy disks. I was going nuts trying to get all of the images off the A: floppy disks, because they all had the same name.. MVC-001 etc (Sony Mavica designation)... and if I tried to put them all in one folder, they would overwrite. Your batch renaming has been a miracle worker.. now I easily and quickly upload all the images and they get consecutive names.. also I've been able to use the thumbnail feature to create simple web pages where you can click on an image and get the enlarged version to look at. "

  • "I use QuickePics to shrink photo files down to manageable sizes for use on the web and the batch processing functionality is superb. I love this little piece of software. Not flashy, not expensive, it just works and has saved me so much time already. "

Amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you! "

  • "Had a product professionally photographed and sized down for a website. Unfortunately, even with the size-down, the file size was too large for a quick web download. Using your product, I was able to significantly reduce the size of the photo file. I am not in the least bit technical and usually groan when I had to read a whole manual to use a program. Your product was so easy to use, I was turning out great pictures within minutes. "

My digital camera outputs at 1984x1488 which is too big for this, so I was wanting to convert down to 400x300 with 200x150 thumbnails. I tried several free trials, and yours was the simplest for what I was wanting. "

I live in France, with family in South Africa, UK and Singapore and use Quick ePics to reduce photos of my little daughter so that my family can share in her growing up. It has saved me an enormous amount of time and I would now like to pay for it! This is a very easy program to use, and very comprehensive."

  • "I use Quick ePics to lighten my auction picture weights. I knew that my auctions were to big when I checked them from a friends computer. They use AOL for there access and I have cable so I never noticed it. The number of average views did not change that much but my bids went up quite a bit. My auctions load an average of 30 seconds faster now. They usually have at least four pictures per auction. Thank you missionpeak software. I love the product and can't say enough."

  • "I took 250 pictures of the rehearsals and publicity photos of a musical play, Fiddler on the Roof. One of the other cast members volunteered to creat a website and post them but my files were 3.5 megs, taken by my Olympus E20. We found your program and were able to reduce them to web size in a hurry. Since that time I have used in for reducing for emails. "

  • "I used the downloaded version and found iteasy to use. I can now resize my Jpeg images without any problems. Cropping was very easy and so was color adjustmants. The thumbnail images should have a USER SELECT SIZE in case the user wants bigger thumbnails than the large. Other than that this program is very easy to use and simple. Saves time when working with Jpeg web photos."

  • "I just processed a batch of pictures. I wonder when the novelty of your program will wear off? I just shake my head in amazement at how easy you have made this process. How long has it been now? And I'm still so excited about it!!! And I have started using the brightness feature and love it too. I can't imagine why anyone would not use it."

  • "Highly recommended! It's so handy, I'm buying a 2nd copy just for home use."

  • "Oh my gosh. I can't believe it. I have been looking high and low for a product to speed up the picture process. I'm having a website built and he advised that I buy Adobe Photoshop for my picture needs. Fortunately I bought a cheaper older version because it is so overkill for my needs. Not to mention the learning curve. I have asked so many people if they knew a program that does what Quick ePics does. But I never thought it would be this easy."

  • Hello James,

The more I use your program, the more I like. I am putting Quick ePics up against others in it's class, for ease and quality of output. Compression was an issue for me, and I am glad to see a Great end result, and the fact this product HAS many adjustments, easy to USE!, and the fact it appears to work well with other programs.

I love the ease of instructions, the way you have explained the settings in the Help Menu. At first I did try to auto-batch on my own, but found I needed instruction on the program, AND I found the instructions SO easy to understand, and the visuals CLEAR as a bell! I was auto-batching in minutes! ....A+++++++++++++++++ :)

I will tell you this, your product will be highly recommended.... Quick ePics to me LOOKS like the BEST choice I have seen yet, and I have many hours of research and trial behind that statement. What appears to me is, you have taken your program steps above most in it's class (EASE, QUALITY, and PRICE)…. So far I haven't found any other batching program I enjoy to use as much Quick ePics, and THAT SPEAKS FOR ITSELF!

The operating systems I am using are ME and 98, 98SE ........So far no hang-ups to speak of, not one! program LOOKS GREAT! :)

    Sincere thanks,

  • Hi Jim - I just took about 10 min to look over your auction item page. I thought you might find it useful to know something about one of your program's users. So I want to share with you where I'm coming from as a seller on e-bay. As you know I am a high-volume seller and have been for about 9 months. Even so, I consider myself a baby when it comes to all this. I have told you I used to do medical transcription although perhaps not that I used to own my own transcription agency a few years ago. These are fields that rely heavily on computers and working quickly. I mention this to show you that I am not ignorant to using computers and am comfortable experimenting to learn new - quicker and better ways to improve my efficiency which will, in the long term, increase my profitability. Learning to sell on e-bay (as you well know) involves learning a lot of new things. I had never used a digital camera. In just over a year, I have purchased my first camera and have upgraded two times. I purchased a cheap scanner a few months back and still don't know how to use it - not that I couldn't figure it out, it just has not been a priority. I have taught myself to maneuver around e-bay, paypal, and to use my auction listing software. There is so much to learn and like I said, I still feel I'm so new to this and have just crossed the tip of the iceberg. For the first several months, I told you, my pictures were so big that they could not be seen on 1 screen. Really it is only the last month that I have corrected that issue. When I bought my Mavica FD7 I got so frustrated and went right out to the store for my first picture editing software - and it was very low end - Photo Expert. The main thing I was looking for was the ability to rotate my pictures. And that is all I did. Several months later I learned that I could resize my pics and it took lots of trial and error to figure that one out. You have probably seen my listings where I tried HTML to resize and ended up with a lot of tall narrow pics that looked retarded. As I came along with that process, I realized I was doing the following repetitive processes:

    1. With a stack of discs of about 100 pics, I was saving them to the hard drive.
    2. I was renaming them one pic at a time - being careful to not double click too fast or the image would appear and I would have to close the image to reclick on my file to rename it.
    3. Then I was pulling it up in Photo Expert, clicking them one at a time to rotate and resize. I would estimate that this process took me about 90 seconds per picture to process per 100 pictures and I would do this about 3 times a week (hence I feel you are saving me over 5 hours per week).

I kept thinking there must be a more efficient way to do this.

When I found Quick ePics, my only goal was efficiency. The reason I am mentioning this is I was not in the least bit concerned about compressing my images. Your auction page mentions that most people on e-bay don't bother compressing their images. So I'm wondering if your focus on compression should be higher up. The rotation and automatic renaming functions alone are amazing. Upon seeing that, I was sold on your program. Your program has personally taught me about compression and has impressed the value of that upon me. When you do get to the compression part, what about a little example about why it is important? For instance, my little girl performs (she's a singer) and I used to look for costumes for her. As I'm looking down the list of available costumes, when I see things I think I might be interested in, I will click to see the auction, and if I recognize the seller as someone whose pics download easily and quickly. However if I recognize the seller as one whose pics are slow, I will just pass them by. As a seller, I want every advantage. If I can just get prospective buyers to come through my door, I stand a better chance at selling them.

I don't know if my experiences are representative of others that are looking at your product.

Okay Jim, I've said a lot and I meant to only take 5 min to write this but now I need to run out to the store. The things I mention are not of a technical nature but more trying to give some insight into the profile of someone who has purchased your wonderful program.

    Okay, good bye. Happy weekend.

p.s. I started using my new camera today and I'm psyched!!! I can't find my instructions but once I have them I will tweak that process.

  • I love the program, I deal with several hundred photos that need to be downsized each week.....I don't suppose there is anyway I can pay for this and get a serial number this weekend is there. I've got about two hundred photos to do by Monday and I'll have to do them one at a time with my old program. Anyway let me know if there is some way I can get this done as soon as possible. Besides I have already pointed this program out to about 45 people that do the same thing as I do. We have about 35 employees that work out of their homes and they use me as the guinea pig or at least I test software and recommend it to my company. I have also shown this to my internet service provider.

  • Where your program comes in so perfect is in two different areas. It's perfect. It takes my original photo file, downsizes all of the photos without eliminating my original mega pixel photos and automatically puts the folder in the same folder. Then it compresses the photos not just a little but a lot smaller than any of the photo programs I've been using. Most photos programs are designed for home users and are just filled with garbage that isn't even understood or is never used anyway. The best I could get my photo sheets down to before with for photos on it were about 165kb. Now with your program my 8.5 x 11 sheet with four photos is down to around 35 to 50kb, I can send 8 or 9 sheets per email and before only about 2 or 3.

  • "This is a easy and user friendly software program."

  • "I use it to batch optimize photos for the Internet. Just what I was looking for."

  • "I want to build my own website of family picture and need to make them all the same size. Since I have lots of pictures I need to save them in the most efficient manner."

  • "Send photos to grandpa."

  • "Great item! Definitely worth the purchase!"
